Pat Robertson Endorses Rudy

Posted by Warren Peterson on November 7, 2007

Pat Robertson endorses Rudy Giuliani! So a major figure of the Christian right prefers a thrice married, pro gay, pro abortion, Roman Catholic who is estranged from his children to, say, a candidate who is still married to his first wife, has a model family, opposes gay marriage and abortion but is a Mormon. What was Pat thinking? Then again, that question has been asked before.

Reporter Interviews Hillary

Posted by Warren Peterson on November 4, 2007

Reporter: Senator Clinton, where do you stand on (insert issue here)?

Hillary: Well, Reporter, we have had seven years of George Bush being wrong on this issue. When I am President, I’ll change the mean-spirited Bush-Cheney-Rove policies.

Reporter: I understand that Bush is evil incarnate but I’m still not clear on where you stand on this issue?

Hillary: My stand is well known. Specifically on this issue, some of my friends are for it, some of my friends are against it and I’m for my friends.

Reporter: Huh?

Later after the interview:

Hillary: Bill, why was Reporter so mean to me?

Bill: He just doesn’t respect women the way I do dear.

Depression – Humor from the Web

Posted by Warren Peterson on November 3, 2007

I was feeling a little depressed the other day so I called Lifeline. I was put through to a call center in Pakistan. I explained I was feeling suicidal.

They were very excited at this news and wanted to know if I could drive a truck or fly a plane.
