Boeing lost the competition, plane too ugly some say, for the Joint Strike Fighter to Lockheed Martin. But the below video from subcontractor Northrop Grumman on the JSF radar system, sales propaganda or not, is impressive plus the plane is cool too.

Warren, do you know how DoD justifies the F-22 AND the F-35? With the incredible success of Drones in Iraq and Afghanistan, at $20M a pop, heavy strike capability, no pilot cost or pilot risk, compared to $200M each for these monster machines. It seems to be a no-brainer, unless you are an Air Force or Navy pilot.
