Cartoonist Chip Bok managed to weave women and gays in the military into one cartoon. Some will laugh and some will just shake their heads but Mr Bok has nailed it. It’s a new military now.

Yes, it is a new military now. However, over the thousands of years of war, if previous military armies did not have women in the front lines fighting then why do we think we have come up with an original idea?
