Wazzu’s New Football Coach

Posted by Warren Peterson on November 28, 2007

Apple Cup winning coach Bill Doba is out at WSU. A half dozen or more names, including former Cougar, briefly Crimson Tide, now Texas-El Paso Head Coach Mike Price, have been floated as a potential Doba successor. But one name is not on the list. Surprising because he’d be a perfect fit for the Palouse; a college quarterback, a lawyer, coach at two Division 1 universities and currently an assistant coach in the NFL . Who you ask?

The next Wazzu savior? Rick Neuheisel – you can bet on it.

Even I wouldn’t wish that on WSU.
